Guide to borrowing materials from other libraries through interlibrary loan.

Using Interlibrary Loan

Before submitting an interlibrary loan request, be sure to check the library catalog to make sure we don't already have access to the material.  If we don't, you can submit a request through Tipasa, our interlibrary loan system.

Before You Use Interlibrary Loan...

Check the catalog! Before you submit a request through interlibrary loan, be sure to check the Law Library Catalog to make sure we do not own the material you want.

For articles, search for the journal title in our e-Journals Finder, too, and try Googling the title to see if the article is available for free online (many are).

For book and article requests:  Save yourself time by locating your book or article on WorldCat first and then clicking on the blue ILL button in WorldCat.
